Known Issues

Error: Missing file “d3dx9_31.dll” error message

Software(s) affected: Penisman

Explanation: Windows is missing a DirectX file that plays a major role in the functioning of many apps, especially games.

Quick Solution: Download the file alone from a trusted site. Then copy it to your system32 folder by doing this: Type “%windir%\system32\ in the “run” box for WinXP or simply click the start button and type it in the search bar for WinVista and higher. Now copy the “d3dx9_31.dll” file into this folder and (if necessary – unlikely) restart your PC.

Suggested Solution: Download the latest version of DirectX9.0c here from Microsoft’s Website. Note that the installer may be small but the total download is approximately 96MB in size. This should fix all missing “d3dx9_**.dll” problems for all applications and games that use DX9 as well as improving their overall quality and performance.

Error: “Cannot load/find xyz file” (64bit OS)

Software(s) affected: Penisman

Explanation: Although Round Phoenix has tried to make software as compatible as possible with x64 windows, there have been one or two times when an error occurs even though the application may have been working just a day/hour earlier. The cause itself is unknown.

Only Solution: Save all documents, close programs and restart the computer.
